FSX SP2 Whiteout

Featured Replies

I had actually gotten FSX to the point at which it would perform reasonably well on my system ( details below). Since the system is going on 6 years old, I don't expect the sliders to go full right or to see blistering frame rates. However, ever since the installation of SP2, I have noted that moving/using the mouse in the 2D cockpit tends to blank the screen ( complete whiteout) for a second or two, the image then reloads, and funtions until I need to adjust something else when is may or may not do it again. It isn't totally dysfunctional, but is certainly is irritating.Anyone else have this problem or have a solution? Try turning off "Cockpit Tooltips" in the "Aircraft" section in settings.
