Using FSX Autogen textures in P3Dv5

Recommended Posts

I wanted to try out some different autogen textures for P3Dv5 just for the fun of it to see how they look, I have the Orbx textures and the textures by RDPresets but I like to change things up and give P3D a different look from time to time.  I've been looking at textures like these here by GEX:

https://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/7309/fsx-team-gex-enhanced-autogen-world-scenery/

https://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/7333/fsx-team-gex-enhanced-major-metro-autogen-part-22/

Or these enhanced FSX autogen textures here:

https://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/17854/fsx-genreloaded-autogen-buildings/

But I was reading that in P3Dv5, the size of autogen buildings were changed, then while I was browsing the Learning Center, I saw this:

LegacyAutogenScaling=False

Non-Default entry. This entry will not exist in your Prepar3D.cfg file by default and must be added to the file.

Reverts autogen building scaling to 4 meters per floor for all autogen building types. Scaling now uses 3.1 meters per floor for small buildings and 3.9 meters per floor for medium and large buildings including warehouses.

So I think in order for these older FSX textures to work in P3Dv5 properly, I would have to change this setting to True when using these textures, correct?

Edit: Also, if anyone knows of any other autogen textures I can try out, please let me know.
