Hello all! 

So I noticed that things haven't been as sharp lately and some shimmering so I took a look at my  UserCfg.opt and I found some weird resolutions...Why are they so low and not my original res?

Just changed the two in bold to 3440 1440 and things seems better.

Under post process section 

Turn film grain to 0

And sharpen to 0

 

Thats it

My resolution changed after the latest update. I solved it this way:

FullscreenBorderless 1

Load the sim after saving the file, then set the resolution as per your preference. Make sure to light a few candles and burn some incence prior to this, just in case.
