Lear35 Help

Featured Replies

Hello,

I recently switched from p3D to MFS for the New Lear 35. I have decided to go back to P3D.

A few questions:

  1. Is there any way I can adjust the aircraft climb performance? I find the initial climb after takeoff is a bit excessive.
  2. Is it possible to have a panel with a stand alone altitude alerter rather than it being combined into the altimeter? For some reason the Multi Crew Experience copilot wont set the altitude when I call for it. I think a previous version of the lear used to have this?
  3. I currently have V4.4 however I noticed that I never get an altitude alert. The altimeter annunciator light does not illuminate and I don’t get a aural tone when within 1000ft of my assigned altitude I have set.
  4. Is their a Mod that saves the aircraft state. Every time I load the aircraft it defaults to a certain state and I have to change it to what was previously set.

Thanks

-- You can reduce pitch or throttle, but note a real life Lear pilot has told me the Lear can climb over 5000ft/min if not "heavy".
  2. Is it possible to have a panel with a stand alone altitude alerter rather than it being combined into the altimeter? For some reason the Multi Crew Experience copilot wont set the altitude when I call for it. I think a previous version of the lear used to have this?
-- There is no stand alone altitude alerter panel available. If you don't want to use the mouse to set the altitude alerter you have to write the target altitude value in feet to the Lvar variable L:ALERTER_DIGITAL using something like FSUIPC or a similar app.
  3. I currently have V4.4 however I noticed that I never get an altitude alert. The altimeter annunciator light does not illuminate and I don’t get a aural tone when within 1000ft of my assigned altitude I have set.
-- When using the autopilot if I have ALTSEL on I get the 1000ft altitude warning tone and light. If ALTSEL is off there is no tone or light.
  4. Is their a Mod that saves the aircraft state. Every time I load the aircraft it defaults to a certain state and I have to change it to what was previously set.
-- If you haven't done so, try using the P3D SAVE flight option after ending a flight, and then using the P3D LOAD flight option when next flying that aircraft.

It has been years since I've really used P3D, but I downloaded Lear35 ver 4.4 into P3Dv5 and did a little testing. Hope this info is useful.
