I realize this probably doesn't have anything to do with LNM, but I've always wondered if there's a setting somewhere which controls showing all those markers in google maps. It seems like every cemetery, church, and some guys business he runs outta his garage has a marker that shows up when I'm flying around. I've never seen anything in LNM that controls this, so I'm wondering if it's a personal setting I have somewhere in google maps. Or something else maybe? 

Agree, these Google POIs are quite annoying. Unfortunately there is not setting or a map variation which disables the POIs. LNM downloads these maps as pre-rendered map images and has no control over the content.

I'd rather use one of the other map themes that require an account but are otherwise free.
