Anyone know how to disable sounds at DD KEWR

Featured Replies

I know it is a rather specific question however I am trying to confirm it is the interior terminal sounds that are causing issues with my PMDG 777 callouts on departure...

I randomly lose cockpit interior sounds, wiper sounds and then eventually my 80 kts, V1, VR and V2 calls although most of the time I will get positive rate.

It doesn't seem to happen at airports without terminal sounds though.  I tried a few departures from an airport without any terminal sounds and sure enough all worked as expected every time.

This leads my to believe that possibly the terminal sounds at DD KEWR are somehow impacting my aircraft sounds.  (I also thought about GSX but ruled that out when it doesn't occur at airports with GSX but without terminal sounds)

So by any chance does anyone know how to disable the sounds at DD KEWR?  I don't see a sound folder or anything obvious.

Thank you in advance

Found them under simobjects/landmarks  in case anyone else is curious, wil update if this solves the 777 issues as it may help another user too.

It appears that indeed was the issue!  They were obtrusive to begin with so not going too miss them but resolving the issues they were causing is even better

Yep, it caused all sorts of weirdness for me with the ATC and all the click sounds in the 738. I reported it several times but they said to remove the files and they'd look into it when they had time. It's been a year + since.
