January 16, 200818 yr Thanks for the cool video and the chart!I also bought the scenery and i like it too :)For using the GPS by the MS flight planner, i made a BGL which adds the 5 Waypoints from the chart to Courchevel.Move it in the FSXSceneryGlobalScenery folder, if you want to use it.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/183387.zip
January 16, 200818 yr Niles,do you have the VFR France Nord Alps?If not, get it.. its worth it. Not sure if you need the autogen for the VFR France Nord. The vfr france photoscenery nord has a good amount of autogen. I don't have it. But if you do get that as well. let me know if its worth getting that (the autogen for VFR France Nord).Manny Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
January 16, 200818 yr Hi Manny,no, i don't have VFR France Nord Alps and i guess it's in FS9 texture resolution. After using Tileproxy for a while i'm not able to use low-res photo-sceneries anymore. :-shyBut thanks for the hint! Perhaps they will make a new FSX-only version for the Alps.

Nils.I thought of that that way too in the beginning. But I got it later and I have no regrets. Its not as bad as regular FS9 textures. I would say...its almost as good as high resolution FSX texture. and they have a patch for FSX.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/183398.jpg Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
January 16, 200818 yr NilsThankyou in return for your waypoints mod, makes it much easier to fly. I did actually try the approach shown in the video, approaching from the direction of Chambery. You can hear him saying he started his descent into VFR there, and flew over Boutier on the way.I tried starting at Aix-le-Bains (LFLB), climbing to 7000ft on a course of 115
January 17, 200818 yr Manny, thanks for the image, indeed it looks really nice. I will visit their site, if i don't find satellite images for the whole Alps. ;)
