Fenix A320 Scipts will not Work after reinstall of MSFS2020

Featured Replies

For Fenix A320 only standard MSFS actions to controllers now work.  Any actions allocated by scripts do not work.

I reinstalled all the Fenix scripts in 'Scripts Editor' (AAO), but no luck.

After reinstall, all AAO scripts for PMDG are working fine.

I allocate blank profiles in MSFS Options for all my controllers and only use AAO, for control.

Any assistance to resolve this, would be appreciated.

Cheers

Did you reinstall AAO too? Make sure that the "lorbysi" addon packages have been placed in your Community folder. Depending on how those scripts were made, they may need those packages to function.

?? Sorry, but I don't understand what you mean. Scripts are usually imported from one or more XML files.

Thanks so much, all good after copying the 'lorbysi' folders from the AAO installation to the new Community Folder.

There was not the need to reinstall AAO as it did not go down with the initial MSFS installation.

Your guidance makes total sense.

Just to clarify, I reinstalled the Fenix scripts via 'scripts import' of the relative Fenix.xml.  Apologies for the misunderstanding.

Thank you for your excellent support.

You always have to reinstall AAO when you clear out the Community folde. In fact, every AAO update is actually a reinstall. The installer places the packages into the Community folder (if it can find it), and you can do that any time you want (the installer doesn't touch the AAO database).
