October 31, 20241 yr Hi there! At the moment I’ve downloaded the freeware POSKY/SkySpirit 777 series (200/300 models). And one thing I’ve noticed is that whenever I select the NAV lights button, the strobes on the wingtips also illuminate… could anyone be of any help? Greatly Appreciated!!
October 31, 20241 yr Which panel are you using for the 777? Best regards,Luis Hernández Main rig: self built, AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D (with SMT off and CO -50 mV), 2x16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM, Nvidia RTX 5060Ti 16GB, 256 GB M.2 SSD (OS+apps) + 2x1 TB SATA III SSD (sims) + 1 TB 7200 rpm HDD (storage), ID-Cooling SE-224-XTS air cooler, Viewsonic VX2458-MHD 1920x1080@120-144 Hz (G-sync compatible), Windows 11. Running P3D v5.4 (with v4.5 scenery objects as an additional library, just in case), FSX-SE, MSFS2020, MSFS2024 and even FS9! Lossless Scaling for all my sims. What a godsend...Mobile rig: ASUS Zenbook UM425QA (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H APU @3.2 GHz and boost disabled, 1 TB M.2 SSD, 16 GB RAM, Windows 11 Pro). Running FS9 there .VKB Gladiator NXT Premium Left + GNX THQ as primary controllers. Xbox Series X|S wireless controller as standby/mobile.
October 31, 20241 yr A lot of the freeware models have lights attached to the model and they don't always work right. Some models can be edited to remove these lights, but others like TDS models have built-in protections that won't allow this, which is why I don't use TDS. TDS models have landing and taxi lights that blast the entire cockpit with bright light when they are turned on. POSKY models can usually be modified. I'm using the default panel that came with the 777 I downloaded the model from this website: https://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=777-200+p3d&x=0&y=0 (Third download down - the Jin Air Package) Cheers.
November 1, 20241 yr Strange. I gave a look to panel.cfg, aircraft.cfg, and the gauges that control both Nav and strobe lights, and I couldn't find anything wrong. When I used the Posky 777 (back in my FS9 days), I didn't find anything unusual (but I was using the PSS panel instead). Dave How would I modify the light anims to fit which switch enables which lights? Just want to see if I can get this POSKY 777s working so I don't have to fork out money for the PMDG planes (I don't think they'd run on my system anyway ahaha)

The strobe lights switch doesn't do anything. There is likely something wrong with the gauge code for the light switches. I'm working on single-aisle Boeing and Airbus planes right now so don't have time to mess with it. In the near future I want to work on a freeware 777 so I'll try to fix it then.
