Just downloaded version 3after years of version2. The program shuts down after entering any info. exampl: to create a flight  plan departing atlanta, KATL.  I type K A as soon as I type the 

'T" it shuts down.  Even in "Settings"after typing a few letters the program shuts down. Any Ideas

As you type in the Waypoint window, the program looks up possible fixes.  If you don't have enough memory or CPU, I suppose the delay could be so long that it seems to shut down.

If you mean that the program actually crashes and closes, then you need to download and install a fresh copy of the latest release.
