November 7, 20241 yr I was flying with PSX, PSXTraffic (updated today to 8.7.0), RealTraffic (10.0.254), and MSFS, and everything was working fine, as it usually does. I closed PSXTraffic because I was going to reposition the aircraft in PSX, and repositioning always closes PSXTraffic anyway. When I was finished repositioning the aircraft, I started PSXTraffic again and it immediately quit with "sys error 31: failed to create the socket." I tried this: Restarting RealTraffic, and launching PSXTraffic Launching PSXTraffic without RealTraffic Restarting PSX, then #1 and #2 Restarting MSFS, then #1, #2, and #3 Nothing has fixed the situation, PSXTraffic quits as soon as it starts. I haven't yet tried restarting the PC, which I am guessing would fix the problem, but it's a pretty big step to take, especially if this happens whenever the aircraft in PSX is repositioned. Any ideas? Edit: Restarting the computer unfortunately did not fix the problem, so I'm truly stuck. Here is what looks like the relevant snippet from Log.txt: MSFS (11.0.282174.999) connected SimConnect: User aircraft title: PSX.NET Boeing 747-400F White GE SimConnect: User aircraft model: 747, half wing span: 7.4 meter, category: Light 19 park airports read from "my_park_airports.txt" 2 park airports added from "airports\my_thirdparty" QNH Reader disconnected The WeatherReader has stopped with an error: sys error 31: failed to create the socket Error Reader error Exiting: SYSTEM ERROR Traffic Reader connected Traffic Reader has stopped Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks. Edited November 7, 20241 yr by prolixindec
