Coast of Acapulco

‘Have never been to Acapulco or Mexico City but in this “fast put together excursion” we’ll do some sightseeing. From the port city of Acapulco de Juárez, (Acapulco) on the south coast of Mexico we will wind northward along highways, bi-ways and rivers to the Mexican interior to the capital city of Mexico, Mexico City.

Along the way we’ll atop two volcanos: Popocatépetl an active stratovolcano, located in the states of Puebla, Morelos and Mexico, (central Mexico), in the eastern half of the Trans-Mexican volcanic belt and Iztaccíhuatl which a 5,230 m dormant volcanic mountain located on the border between the State of Mexico and Puebla within Izta-Popo Zoquiapan National Park.

Aircraft:

Well not sure about this one: Mostly low and slow but we’ll definitely need some speed as well as climb power. Turbo Bonanza (Rob Young or Bksq) comes to mind for me but any aircraft that can travel between 150 and 180 with some climbing power will do. As always, please feel free to use your aircraft of choice.

Time and Weather
Prefer to fly real weather if possible but if not, the few clouds Jeff 1, Jeff 2 or Josh preset make interesting atmospherics but best if we are on the same weather preset. For takeoff: set the simulator time to @1300 local.  Hope you enjoy this scenic flight.
