Would FSX run on this Alienware monitor ?

It would probably run but because the aspect ratio is 16:5 your image will be distorted. This will be evident mostly in circular objects, such as gauges or wheels. FSX supports standard (4:3) and widescreen (16:9) (Some use 15:10 ratios). 16:5 will make your objects appeared stretched on the Horizontal axis. (Actually they'll be scrunched on the vertical axis). The monitor probably can display 16:9 (or 15:10) but you'll lose the use of part of the screen, which may negate the benefit. Sort of like watching a standard definition tv show on a HDTV channel.BTW my projector is DLP, and it does put out a nice image on a 9 foot screen!!

Thanks
