No registry involved. All is driven by known paths and a text file.

Maybe the update process did not change the "InstalledPackagesPath" in the file UserCfg.opt . You can adapt it manually if needed.

i got it to work, thanks. i ran the LNM before MSFS was finished installing, then went to load the DB after it was finished installing (which didn't work), so the trick was to re-start LNM and then it found it
