Persistent message when entering x-plane

I keep getting this message after updating x-plane 12 (v12.1.2) every time I enter the sim. Clicking either of the choices does nothing to get rid of the message. Is there a file setting anywhere in the x-plane folder I can edit to get rid of it. Just as a FYI, the x-plane folder is in my “C” directory. I also noticed after updating that any other changes like keyboard assignments are not saved anymore as well.

Thanks in advance for any help
