Is my pre-order correct?

Featured Replies

Hi, everybody,

I've pre-ordered (and paid by VISA) MS2024 this morning. Everything seems to be fine, but there are two things I don't know if are correct:

First, a Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 icon has been created on the Windows desktop, but it's blank (and clicking on it with the mouse does nothing).

Second: Microsoft Store hasn't e-mailed me with the confirmation of the purchase (unlike five years ago, when I immediately received an email confirming my MSFS 2020 purchase).

However, on MStore and XBox, everything seems to be alright, and MS2024 is listed as ready for download.

Any clue?

Regards

Same for me except when I click on the desktop shortcut, the MSFS2024 windows pops up with a message you're too early and to check the XBOX app for the launch date.... so I think you're fine.

Thank you, YMMB,

That's what I understood, but in my case the icon is blank and no action at all.

Hi, again,

Thank you all for your help.

I’ve visited my account. The MS2024 is paid. Everything seems to be OK.

But, apparently, people who have pre-ordered MS2024 have a link on their desktop with an icon that, when run, opens a notification saying that it is too early to download the program. In my case, the icon is blank, I cannot locate the source file, and of course, no dialog box or anything opens.

I guess we will know tomorrow if everything is correct or not.

Greetings

Hi, again,

Everything is ok now.

I went to XBox and this time I could preinstall the simulator.

Now I have now an icon ("Limitless") on my desktop!

Greetings
