  1. Did you try calibrating your controllers in Windows....just wondering?
  2. Even in Australia and it can start a few weeks before actual Black Friday.
  3. And manufacturers not wanting to up production levels, which they can do, for fear of suddenly having over-supply....we lose again.....
  4. I hate the phrase "supply and demand"..as the excuse for raising prices....a seller chooses to raise their prices...a buyer doesn't force a seller to do so and has there been such a big jump in demand by the general consumer like us?...is the AI market really the cause for limiting supply to the general public or is there another cause for these ridiculous price increases?
  5. Are you in SU4 Beta? I am and this didn't happen once in the Beta.
  6. I would have thought a great model for a flightsim with official backing would be great marketing for the brand...sure no simmer is going to rush out and buy one after trialling it in MSFS but what does Gulfstream loose by allowing it? ...Maybe a sanctioned Global Express MSFS version would change their minds.😜
  7. It's all about time....released too early, rushed out...meet a marketing deadline...whatever the reasons....it's definitely enjoyable for the majority right now...so much so in my case I'm finally looking at ordering a replacement for my trusty I7-7700K/1080Ti...😂 btw has there ever been a hardware combi that was spot on at a fair price since?
  8. Do you start running the sim before starting FSTL?
  9. I've mentioned it in the PMDG 777 forum however when I start to taxi the 777 and tap the brakes just slow down the aircraft actually comes to a complete stop, not suddenly but like the brakes haven't released after my initial press. And then it's as though the park brake is activated. I can only get moving by flipping the Autobrake switch around from RTO to Off or Disable or cycling it back and forth between these settings to get moving again. This is the 777-300 in MSFS2024. I've gone through every controller I have (including mouse and keyboard) and only the rudder pedal has left and right toe brakes bindings. No other brake binding of any sort.
  10. I had this issue last night with the PU Korea V2 CDU. I forgot I had a full CDU binding setup using the default MSFS2024 for the B737 Max. I changed the controls option setup specific to the B737 Max to "none" and just relied on the PU Korea software and the double character entry stopped.
  11. What I'm advising is you cannot do it with OC3. maybe manually dropping and pasting but while I own the MSFS2020 version and did get it into MSFS2024 it was only by manual file movement. The 777 is released officially for MSFS2024 and so controlled by OC3 , so you are meant to use OC3.
  12. Have you tried the Unlock option in the controller menu?
  13. I may be wrong however I think OC3 doesn't handle the B737 until it's made available by PMDG for MSFS2024. In your posted vid the YouTuber is using OC2. Regarding the A380, maybe you can point the installer configuration setting towards MSFS2024 community folder and just install as per MSF2020.
  14. Looking for some feedback on the following please: Comparing 9950X3D vs 9800X3D running the following software. Would I get any appreciable performance difference between the two on an identical base PC setup while running the following: MSFS2024 in 4K on 43" monitor Background software running: FSTL on med/high settings, Mobiflight, Flightimbuilder G1000 PFD & MFD with 2 pop out panels & software, PU Korea CDU with 1 popout screen & software. In OZ it's a $AUD450 difference (about $USD280)
  15. Did you install MSFS 2020 in the suggested default location or in a custom location? How to locate the "Community folder" in Microsoft Flight Simulator – Aerosoft
  16. Actually was that also able to replicate jet engine power loss in a storm? I know one sim did...
  17. YMMB replied to Skybus2021's topic in PMDG 777
Sorry I meant my HC Alpha hat...for panning freely around I have bound the following: COCKPIT LOOK DOWN to JOYSTICK POV DOWN COCKPIT LOOK UP to JOYSTICK POV UP COCKPIT LOOK LEFT to JOYSTICK POV LEFT COCKPIT LOOK RIGHT to JOYSTICK POV RIGHT and RESET COCKPIT VIEW to JOYSTICK BUTTON 2 You can also use the same type of binding when in external view.

You can pan around in the MSFS2024 cockpit, I do using my Bravo hat switch. You just have to find the correct function and bind it. You can pan around and up and down.. I use 4 bindings which move your view left, right, up and down. I use a separate button to reset the view to forward. I know there are a couple of different binding options, one for freely looking left for example, where you stay looking in the direction you have moved and another binding which makes you look left but swing back to the front view. I'll find my bindings and get back.

Are you referring to panning around the cockpit or some other way of switching views that you would like to map to your controls?
  20. Would that be YPAD....😛 Thanks for letting us know...agree screen shots look fantastic. How do you find performance as I also have the Auscene version?
  21. I think this goes forgotten or unknown by many unless you're an older simmer like some of us...on release FSX was unplayable on my system, a slide show no matter what i did.....and I was forced to buy a whole new PC or do something else ....and P3D only got better performance after going 64bit...I still have "OOM" nightmares... With MSFS2020 and 2024 I can play them well with reasonable settings as I'm far more pragmatic as I get to 60....on my I7-7700K/GTX 1080Ti I don't look at the FPS count, I instead bought expensive hardware like a full G1000 suite and CDU panels and have never had as much simming joy.......but it's my birthday today and I'm ordering a new PC as I figure my wife bought herself a new car I can get away with spending 1/10 😛 (that's in Aussie dollars) without her noticing. .....and when the PMDG 747's come out I'll renew my love affair with the Queen..my first love, sorry wife...
  22. I'd never recommend it simply because I think nVidia are extorting us...unfortunately it is however the best GPU available...and in a build of the best of the best it would be the choice. Here in Australia the cheapest 5090 costs AUD$1.5K more than my whole new last build...a i7-7700k, GTX1080Ti, 32gig ram etc.... and back then it offered a very easily justified performance bump over the components a generation older...
  23. It's still safe to check if any in-sim binding might exist even though you didn't create one. The odd one often exists as I once thought I deleted every binding and still found one or two still hanging around.
