Hi,

 

One more problem with SU3 : when I want to use the FP7, when I type on "E" for exemple, I get "EE" on the screen. It's the same for all caracters, and éCLR" wipes all caracters.

My PF7 is unusable.

SimAppPro has been updated, and I tried a reinitialization, but nothins helps.

I'm trying with PMDG 777-300.

I hac=ve n  problem wirh FSlabs A321Neo on MCDU
Any idea???

Are you using Mobiflight or SimAppPro to control the PFP-7?

I had a very similar issue when using Mobiflight but not with SimAppPro

 

With SU2, I used SimAppPro and would like to conrinue using it.

I have the same problem in SU3 with the PFP7.
I use the PMDG 777 300 and SimAppPro from WinWing.
This problem was introduced with the new SimAppPro update 1.16.60. 

I still had an older version of SimAppPro 1.16.51 on my hard drive.

I installed this version, and everything worked perfectly again.

I think we need to report the problem to WinWing.

Good shout maybe they'll incluse the 777LR in the next update as well

Well for me, using SimApp Pro .60, PFP7, and PMDG 777-ER I just entered a FP from KMIA to KDEN.  No double typing for me, operates as it always has.  That said, the .60 release seemed to break my PFP4 to 747’s in 2024.  747-8 PFP4 becomes inactive (keys don’t work) after 60 or so seconds.  747-400 LCF and the Tanker both work fine.  747-8 and PFP4 / SimApp Pro .60 work just fine in 2020.  And what’s with that .57 to .60 mess with the rollback of .58 in .59.  Their change logs and QC need a bit more polish but I love their products!

That's true, the products are top-notch in terms of price-performance.

But the software is something special.

Unfortunately, you can't have everything.

But we're looking ahead.

Just got a chance to try .57. It fixed my issues with PFP4 and 747-8 in 2024.  Working beautifully so please let me thank you once more.  Blue skies again!

I had this issue last night with the PU Korea V2 CDU.  I forgot I had a full CDU binding setup using the default MSFS2024 for the B737 Max.  I changed the controls option setup specific to the B737 Max to "none" and just relied on the PU Korea software and the double character entry stopped.

This worked for me.
I received a new WinWing FPF7 for the PMDG 777, and after installing it I noticed that all button presses were being registered twice in the sim (but not in SimApp Pro for some reason). Of course, I had already installed the latest version of SimApp Pro.

After finding this forum, I tried the suggested solution to roll back to version 1.16.57 — and it worked like a charm. Once I downgraded SimApp Pro, everything functioned as expected.
