Don't understand why they can't give you a non streamed version for times like this, I accept the fact that scenery will be FSX quality but all my 3rd party stuff would still work and you could at least fly around even if it does look pants. Lets be honest some areas even when it's all working look like a warzone with PG turned on!

From my admitedly limited knowledge when 2024 is running the only GSX thing running is couatl.exe in the system tray. When you run the FSTD installer (not the live updater) it should say you are on V4.0.9. I would do this after a fresh restart of your PC and without running any other Sim related apps/software. If it's not on v4.0.9 then update it. if it is then click the check button and let it finish it's check it will update anything that wasn't on your local node when it last ran. If you use the seated passengers option you will need to click "Config" then "Disable all" and then "Enable All making sure to use the close button at the bottom of this page. Exit the FSTD installer. Once that's all done you should now at least be upto date and no need for live updater to kick in when you close MSFS24. I've never had this happen and as far as I can tell there is nothing in GSX that would command an update on closing. The hotfixes carried out in sim are literarly just that, small fixes that don't need a full installer. Fire up the sim and before closing, look to see if anything other than coutatl is running if either of the ghsx installers are running then you have something starting them up with MSFS24.

Why have you even got the live installer open when running MSFS24? Live installer should be run let it do it's thing and then close it down. it's not needed when running the Sim.

Currently GSX utilises the jetways in MS2024 it does not replace them as it does in 2020. They are currently working on a multiple jetway solution and at that point jetways in 2024 will be replaced by GSX one and this will give you full control over them as well as customisation.

The only time i get theat with the Fenix is when I've forgotton to remove chocs or GPU. I do however use Any2GSX and have a stream deck and use GSSX on there so I rarely see the GSX menu on screen anyway

It's the humidity that's the issue for me. I can remember walking around the ruins of Pompei in June not that long ago and temp wise it felt like the lava was still flowing! but it was dry as a bone and so hot but comfortable. Cut to Orlando start of August 1999 and humidity like a tropical rainforest, unbearable. Down on the south coast where I liveToday is 30 degees C (86f) and 55% humidity in my living room I'm sweating my bit's off! Outside it's 35c (95f) in the shade and there isn't any. But we're british we'll carry on regardless of social mediaa reminding us constantly the THE USA has AC why don't we 😅

You can depending on the profile that you have for the airport. if the profile has included VDGS screens then they will guide you in if a marshaller is in the profile then they will guide you in. I use it with BATC and when BATC assigns the gate and you acknowledge it GSX will prep the gate ready for your arrival.

When they shut down the user to user section of discord I did ask what if a user just wants to find out how to do aa certain thing and the answer was open a support ticket.🤷 they say they'll reply in 72 hours, I've still not heard from them since Tuesday.

Have either of you tried the backup option in Flo-Pro? I tried it on mine and a backup was created but it won't import back in. If you tell it to reset back to new like the 1d1ot I am when you restor backup nothing happens. Fortunately I didn't have too much set up. I did raise a ticket with them on Tuesday but not heard anything from them yet and their discord has no user to user section either.

I don't think FT are as big a company as they were or nowadays would like you to think, and that's not unusual to be fair. It would appear the dev who did KLAS has been AWOL for some time until the recent update to V3 which is not without problems there are 2 others that pop up from time to time but like their updates neither appears with any regularity. You can post a question today and you may get an answer next week. probably won;t be the answer you're looking for though. Unfortunately they are the only EHAM provider out there and so we're stuck with what they have to offer as soon as a better one comes out I'm off.
