When you load a flight plan you need to first check that it is valid. It will mark your TOD based upon the airspeed you have indicated and your ROD once that is done you can then proceed to "File" it with ATC. You can only "File" your flight plan once but if you make changes en-route (eg. altitude) then you can re-validate, without re-filing. I would really advise reading through the documentation that came with P2ATC. it's not really a load and run type of program unless you've been using it a while.

I did yes, It was down to a corrupt hard disk in my case, which had corrupted the AAO files in the appdata folder and others. the option wasn't greyed out in my case. It allowed me to select the script but then threw an error when I tried to import it. other than checking you're running the latest version (2.31 b23) then sorry I can't be of more help. it would appear you've tried all the things I would have done also Oliver will be along soon I'm sure (he's good like that) hope you get it fixed soon Brian

Hi Mark, I'm not sure if this is how it's supposed to be but after I close MSFS Avia server is still left running in the system tray. It doesn't appear to be causing any problems other than the "FlyByWire Installer" thinks MSFS is still running and won't let me update the aircraft until I close it. I didn't understand the problem at first as there were no MSFS processes running, but as soon as I closed Aviaserver the option to update appeared. Is there a setting I can change that will force Aviaserver to close with MSFS? I run both Aviaserver and MSFS in admin mode on Win10x64

HI Howard, I use both also and occasionally get an issue where either SDXL or my x-touch mini don't want to play. I Always start MSFS2020, the SD app and AAO in admin mode. If I find the SD isn't playing the I exit both the SD App and AAO and restart them after MSFS is up and running and it all starts working again. I agree we do seem to spend a lot of time tinkering rather than flying but I remember saying that about P3D.....FSX....FS2000.....😊

Just to add, I also use Kindle fire 10 for this but I use MS Edge as a browser and this also works fine. Well done Mark for a great product!

I tend to go into taxi maintenance at the start of each flight to a new airport and manually import that airports taxiways and gates. and I also ake a point of running makerunway's every time I add a new airport. This seems to work for me I may be doing more than needed, I'm sure Dave will let me know 🤣

That's a yes from me too, I love Pilot2ATC and I flew the FBWA320 yesterday and programmed in a hold using the experimental version and it worked really well. it would have been even better if P2ATC could have instructed me to the hold. I believe P2ATC cannot control AI and that may make P2ATC unable to determine when to add or release you from a hold but even if it was there as a option to include in the flight plan regardless it would be useful.

Is your baro set correctly? if not you may still be below FL10 even though your altimeter says otherwise. UK should be below 6000 ft baro set to local above 6000 it should be set to standard which is 1013 (29.92) In the US it's 18000 ft

Such a trouble maker 🤣 Like most of these things it all depends on how much immersion you want in your virtual world. I don't have nay of the payware models. As I'm only interested in seeing busy airports with decent quality AI models I'm not that fussed about whether the airlines are accurate to the airport, but I know that others are. I just highlight all the major airlines and the click the aforementioned (once or twice) OCI button and let it do it's thing. As others have said you probably will have to intervene a few times to get some manual installed models but after that it's all plain sailing or flying (wouldn't want to mislead anyone into thinking it's a sailing sim) 😀

With the amount of keyboard clicks that have been used here to debate whether the name is misleading or not the op and others could have installed just about every airline and flight plan AIG offer! 😂

Well it would appear that my boot drive is corrupt which would explain the issues with my program data folder and missing or corrupt files. New drive and re-install of Win10 today and hopefully in the next day or 2 back to normal!

Hi Oliver @Lorby_SI, I have been using your excellent AAO for some time now and all has been fine. Yesterday I had a crash(whole PC froze) while in MSFS2020 and today having got everything working ok, or so I thought. I find that AAO appeared not to be talking to my Stream Deck or MSFS2020. I tried re-importing the AAO FBWA320.xml script from guenselli which I been using for some time now but AAO gives the message "import failed: configuration system failed to initialize" I uninstalled AAO and made sure all folders were deleted re-installed but still I can't import a script. I know the problem is somewhere within my PC but I'm at a loss as to where.

My first guess would be your firewall (defender) blocking data from one or both may be worth disabling this just while you try it out. failing that Pete and John Dowson on the fsuipc forum are really quick and good at resolving problems there may be a log that shows where the connection is failing.

I've just logged into MSFS2020 with FSUIPC 7.2.10 and P2ATC v2.6.2.3_x64_R2 and that has connected ok I take it FSUIPC is running down in your system tray?

Agreed, an alternative download source would be ideal. I messaged JF after the last update as a week a had gone by and it was still on 2.10. the reply was "we'll check if the Dev has sent it"
