^{I see lots of pros and cons throughout the forum.  I see mostly gripes all over the place.  I've been working for hours and trying to set up 2024 and have had some pretty successful flights.  But, How about a formal thread here that only lists the observations of the MSFS 2024 users.  Here's what I'm finding:}

• The joystick CONTROLS area is kind of like a whole new area that is confusing.  I have set up views in both planes and helicopters and I've set up most of the buttons on my joystick in each area; however, when I go back to the sim after shutting it down, I find that I sometimes have to do it over again.  Is there a foolproof SAVE function like we had in 2020?
• The weather seems absolutely inaccurate for me.  Perhaps I'm not setting it up correctly, but it looks as though it is correctly switched on when I check the tab.
• Outside the plane, scenery looks way better than through the windshield of the cockpit.  It looks so dull and un-lifelike.
• Is there a Photogrammetry switch?  I don't see it, but I do see alien blobs where vegetation should appear on the ground.

This forum is better!  I will also post there, but I’m a big believer that AVSIM gets the word out quite well.
