November 22, 20241 yr Author Commercial Member ...and here is a list of known bugs... The automated start with the simulator is not active in the MSFS2024 version. You can use this exe.xml if you want, it will do the same thing. Be mindful that to utilize the WebAPI (=StreamDeck!) AAO needs to start with the "As Administrator" option, that does not work when it is called up by the sim. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/ky41qagsa08up815kxlix/exe.xml?rlkey=nx6vjvogw0w9l7xzg2el9yax5&dl=0 Personally, I am doing it the other way round, I don't use the exe.xml and instead have AAO start the sim: Always start as Admin - ON Start automatically with the sim - OFF Connect automatically - ON Start simulator before connecting - ON When set up like this, the sim will start automatically when you start AAO, and it will connect right away too. IE: Input Events have become very important in MSFS 2024. To recap: you can trigger them with (>IE:...) , but you can also read their value with (IE:...) IEs can be observed with the Events Viewer in AAO, and their value can be observer too on the Variable viewer dialog. Now for the bug: when you select an IE from the variable treelist (Group "MSFS Input Events") then the "IE:" is missing, you have to add it manually. When you select a Template in Offline mode, AAO will CTD. This is a bug in the app, to be fixed in the next version. Be careful when you are not seeing that CTD. In that case you have a Template and a Configuration with the exact same name in your database - and AAO will have loaded the config, not the template! Whilst shutting down PC I noticed AAOHS was open. I assume this is the reason I had the problem. I will try again tomorrow
