February 20, 200818 yr No, it doesn't, just a small joke as regards the things blamed on anything FSX related, sorry if ya got worried :-)jb[a href=http://exmixer.com/fs.shtml]FS9/FSX stuff[/a]
February 20, 200818 yr .. joke or not - if you have iTunes ipod service running (icon in the SysTray) and you're in the middle of a nice long decent flight when it decides to "check for updates" you can pretty much kiss goodbye to the flight. :-fume FSX will drop to the taskbar, and no matter what you do it doesn't come back. It has happened twice to me. It won't happen again, though! :+ i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.

Adobe Reader has a similar 'Don't update automatically' option. Still goes looking though. Download and install [a href=http://www.wireshark.org/about.html]Wireshark[/a]. Launch it before you run iTunes, QT, Adobe Reader, whatever you think *shouldn't* be auto-phoning home. Ymmv, I know what I see though ;-)As regards Wireshark, set a System Restore point before installing. It's not malware, just always nice to be able to get back where you started if you have any network connection problems. And of course you run Avast, AVG or some other reputable AV sw to scan your downloads, right?Regards,jb[a href=http://exmixer.com/fs.shtml]FS9/FSX stuff[/a]
