This update has been a top priority for our development team, ensuring that MSFS2024 pilots can enjoy the immersive experience of flying online with VATSIM. The new version of vPilot has undergone thorough testing to ensure a smooth and reliable connection for the latest Microsoft Flight Simulator platform.

As we prepare for the release, we want to highlight an important note about model matching compatibility!

Due to changes in how MSFS2024 streams content, vPilot will not initially support robust model matching without a third-party utility. We understand how vital accurate model matching is for immersion, and we’re committed to collaborating with the development community to bring native support for MSFS2024 in the future. In the meantime, without a third-party utility, network traffic will be limited to approximately 30 default aircraft models provided by MSFS2024. For the best experience, we strongly recommend using a reliable third-party solution, such as FSLTL, to expand model matching options.

Additionally, we discourage users from connecting to the network while using Career Mode, as the simulator automatically changes communication frequencies during these scenarios, potentially disrupting the VATSIM experience.

I will be using IVAO until we get 3rd Party availability for AI Models. No way I'm doing model matching without AIG.
