This is weird. The last few sessions I've used 2020 over the last week I've had this problem. I can use the sim on first load very well. It's never been better. Problem is, when I'm done with current flight and want start another it's not possible without quitting sim entirely and restarting. 

Is anyone else seeing this? Seems to have started about same time the new flight planner(Simbrief?) was introduced. 

You start flight normally with the world screen/select airport and aircraft then fly. 

After quitting flight though most of home screen is missing, especially the pick aircraft and the choose airport /runway /gate interface. The map is there and I can click on airport select as departure but the FLY NOW option is missing. So is aircraft selector. I can go into hanger and change plane there but going back to main menu still no option to pick route or fly. 

Out of desperation I entered training /landings and those work, but not free flight. 

It's not a BIG problem as usually when I'm done I'm done but sometimes after a long haul I like a quick vfr around destination to finish up but if I have to restart whole sim I just give up for the night. I COULD change plane in dev mode but as I use 3rd party addons only they usually like to be loaded fresh not over another complex plane. 

Don't know exactly when this started but sure in last week either after flight planner updated or 2024 was released. Doubt it has anything to do with the latter though. 

Anyone else? Any ideas? I'm not going to reinstall, heck no, it works too well otherwise! 

I posted this last night at 2am , half expecting a couple of answers or questions when I woke up.

Instead I had to search for it as after only a few hours it was buried and pushed down to page 3 by the usual flood of 2024 incoming.

I just wanted to see if anyone else could check that they could start a new flight after quitting back to the home screen from an active flight?

Seems to be permanent my end now. I am allowed one flight only and then have to quit the sim and reload.
