Wilco Airbus Vol. 2 display font resizing

Featured Replies

Hi all,Does anyone out there know if there is a way to change the size and font of the Navigational Display (Horizontal) and the FMGC (FMC) displays in the Airbus? I find the center LCD for engine data and the one below to have the proper sized fonts but the other 2 display characters that I mentioned are too large. I have searched the Aircraft.cfg file but could not find the proper line to edit... or have I just overlooked it?Thanks in advance,

the gauge calls for the fonts needed so you cannot 'find the line to edit...'the font size used were a design decision on eric's part so as the characters could be easily read on the average computer monitor where the entire ND is about 2.5"x2.5".--

fonts used by the gauge are deep in the code. an end-user ability to access such detail can't be found even with freeware developers.add to above, if a user changed something as they had the ability to edit the gauge code unexpected results could occur. just think if someone made the base code 'wingdings' by accident; cause a memory access error, etc ...the thread linked below shows the challenge in developing across the different size monitors available -http://www.iemit.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=756--

Thanks for your feedback.
