December 1, 20241 yr Hi all So far my msfs 2024 looks worse than 2020, I need to do more investigation. In particular YBAF looks terrible with odd colours and the photogrammetry around the airport, Brisbane and the gold coast is not as sharp as 2020 There are also clumps of brown that I assume are meant to be trees but something is just not right. I have increased the cache to 100 gigs and defaulted the settings,I'll keep investigating but my first impression is underwhelming. Maybe just an issue at my end hopefully. I'm on 1000mb fibre connection. I need to look around a few cities in Australia to compare more. Any chance someone could Do a drone shot showing YBAF so I can see how it compares to mine Thanks Wayne Wayne such Asus Hero Z690, Gigabyte Aorus Master 5080, I914900K, Kraken 360 AIO CPU Cooled, 96 GIGS Corsair DDR5, 32 Inch 4K by 3
December 1, 20241 yr Well, happens to you and to thousands of other simmers. I think a lot of people was expecting MSFS2024 to behave like this during the first weeks/months, after its "teething" period. On the other hand, you see other simmers happy with 2024 to be able to see little stones on the grass, or over the sand in some beaches, or even stones under clear waters. Others are complaining about all its still present bugs and incompatibilities. There's certainly a different MSFS2024 for everybody. To me, the smartest idea is to keep MSFS2020 installed until the 2024 smoke clears out.
