The current OS Forums under Hardware & Operating Systems Discussions contents win7/8/10/11 which have very limited utilization IMO

As X-Plane natively runs in MAC and Linux, and MSFS can run under Linux using Proton, the OS for sim flyer is not limited to windows anymore.

For example, I'd like to migrate to Linux, however I don't know if P3D could run under it, where I could find such information? A dedicated Linux forum might be really helpful. While I don't use MAC, a MAC forum might also include Apple silicon hardware related issue.

And while I use win7 until last year, which is very long after EOS, I don't think it's really needed to keep that forum as both win7 and 8 forum have no active for years. I'd suggest combine win7 and win8 forum, and maybe win10 forum later to a "Legacy windows OS Forum"  and let Win11/12 be "Current Windows OS". Or maybe just as P3D and MSFS forum, use the tag on one windows forum?

To sum up, I'd like to have current 4 subforums of win7/8/10/11 be change to these 4 subforums:

Current Windows OS

Legacy Windows OS

Linux OS (maybe include android?)

MAC OS / Apple silicon Hardware
