December 3, 20241 yr Hello, I have a problem with msfs24 with the download speed of the initial game or the updates. First, I have a 600 Mbits internet fiber so no problem on this side and I have absolutely no problems with the streaming in the game. It is working perfectly. Unfortunately it is not the same when I have to download the initial game or the game updates. It took me more than 15 hours to download the initial game (50Go) and yesterday it took me more than one hour to download the 800Mo update Usually my download speed is close to 200 Ko/s which is absymal and not normal. If I download a FBW or Feniw update, I can easily reach 200 Mo/s. I know downloads from the Microsoft servers are usually slow but as the same time, another french player told me that the update download took him less than a minute yesterday. So there is definitely a problem on my side but I cannot figure it out. Thanks for your help.

I'm willing to bet good money there is no problem on your side. Just tens of thousands of people trying to download the same thing at the moment and the MS servers are getting hammered again.

It was my initial thinking but at the same time, people from the same country (so probably on the same servers) says that it took them less than a minute yesterday night on prime time here in europe and a few minutes after the update was available.
