December 10, 20241 yr I took off from RWY24R via ORCKA5 SID out of KLAX, this chart has left turn vectors from all runways to KLIPR. But P2A V3 is giving me vectors to turn right, which doesn’t match real life operations. P2A v2 vectors you correctly to the left. December 10, 20241 yr Commercial Member The data has no specified turn direction and so the turn is the shortest turn to the next waypoint, KLIPR, which is South of the airport. So a left turn would be in order. If KLIPR weren't in the SID, a vectored right turn to KEGGS would make sense to avoid crossing the departure path of 25R/L. I'll investigate further. Dave
December 10, 20241 yr Commercial Member In looking at the charts, they specify a left turn also, so maybe V2 was doing it wrong. I do see some other departures being displayed wrong, so I'll be working on that. Dave Edited December 10, 20241 yr by Dave-Pilot2ATC
December 11, 20241 yr Author Dave, to clarify, V2 is correctly vectoring me to the left.
