ILS-->Taxi a No-go?

Featured Replies

I'm having problems taxiing the default a321 after making an ILS landing, even after disabling every single button that's marked ILS, APP, or NAV. Is there something wrong here? could it be as simple as forgetting something to do with the gear? Thanks, ~Noob

And you turned the autopilot (AP button) off?Ulf B

Yes. AP, A/T, NAV1, ILS, FD, APP all went off.

Autobrake off?

Being the noob I am, I couldn't even find out how to turn it on, so it's definitely off. Besides, I can taxi forward, I just can't turn. Also, I switched to a 737 for testing, and it worked fine.

Do you have rudder pedals or a joystick with a twist grip? Use the rudder to turn during taxi.Mike.

I dont fly the 'scarebusses'but I just checked the default 321 and it steers fine using CH pedals. It does have auto brake indicators on the gear panel, but they appear inactive.

Yeah, that's what I do normally. I use a twist-grip joystick, was looking into getting rudder pedals soon.

What happens if you just click AP to disconnect the autopilot on final? Don't click on any other button.Ulf B

Check your 'assignments' and make sure that your twist joystick is correctly assigned. Enable 'autorudder'.

I did, everything's fine with bindings and stuff. As I said before I switched to a different plane and tried and it worked fine, just not in the A321.
