I had a file for FS9 that showed the default mesh resolutions over the globe. I understand that FSx also has varying resolutions in different places and has a scenery slider to allow one to see the mesh at it's best .. BUT - nowhere can I find just where these high res mesh places are.Any help pleaseThanks Barry

However, ACES used a higher compression setting when compiling their data, which means that 76-m or 38-m mesh compiled with lower compression (like most of the payware and freeware offerings) will contain more detail than the default mesh compiled at the same resolution.Cheers, Holger
