Blacksquare Turbine Duke Cowl Flap Operation

Featured Replies

I am revisiting the Blacksquare Duke Turbine and for the life of me, I cannot remember where the "Cowl Flap" switches are located in the Duke Turbine. I know it differs from the "Piston". Is it somewhere around the Throttle Quad?

There is no "cowl flap" on the turbine version.  You have "oil door" and  "ice deflect" switches located on the left side console.  Oil door opened or closed depending on oil temperature and ice deflect to avoid FOD (foreign object debris).

Thanks for the info! I was also wondering about the "oil door" and  "ice deflect" switches as well...and logically they are situated the same as the "Piston" model on the Pilots' side.
