January 3, 20251 yr Hi everyone! This is not my question but a question of my very near friend. He recently bought an USB game controller for FS2004 but he is unable to connect his controller with the sim. I mean to say he can't do anything with the controller in order to control the aircraft. He said that all his controller drivers are installed and he played other games smoothly by using it. So basically, he wants to know how to play FS9 using an USB controller! Just to say, he has FSUIPC installed in his sim. January 3, 20251 yr If it is a USB controller, it should be picked up by Windows, without the use of any additional drivers. Knowing what PC would help, but anyway, once plugged into the PC, with the sim running, if I remember in the Key assignments section, there could be a Calibration setting where you can check if the thing is being seen. Once that is done, each button/function can then be assigned. I'm not at my sim, so I cannot say where the joystick calibration setting is, I'm sure it is in the Joystick settings. Good luck. But there still remains a problem. I don't know for what reason but he is unable to adding controls to both the axis of the controller. Can anybody help here... Thanks!
