January 7, 20251 yr Live traffic injected by PSXT/RealTraffic sometimes display aircraft data in LNM with origin and destination swapped, EX: Delta 1081 on 1/7/25 is a flight from KLGA to KDFW but in LNM they are swapped showing origin as KDFW and destination as KLGA. On the LNM map the aircraft itself is flying in the right direction from KLGA to KDFW. Is this caused by a data issue from RealTraffic, or is it possible LNM is interpreting the data incorrectly in some cases? The vast majority of flights depicted in LNM have data labels with correct origin and destination...only a minority are swapped. i7-6700k • Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD5 • 32GB DDR4 2666 • EVGA FTW ULTRA RTX3080 12GB
January 7, 20251 yr What simulator do you use? If MSFS or P3D: LNM takes the data from the SimConnect interface as is. This is most likely a LiveTraffic issue. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
January 8, 20251 yr Author Alex, I should have known better than not include the sim I'm running...MSFS2020. I expected it is probably the case that RealTraffic is sending out bad data - it's not uncommon with RT. PSXT/RT is a great live traffic solution, but not without certain peculiarities. i7-6700k • Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD5 • 32GB DDR4 2666 • EVGA FTW ULTRA RTX3080 12GB
January 8, 20251 yr Really looks like RealTraffic swaps the departure and destination. LNM fetches the same fields using SimConnect since FSX times already. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
