ORBX HD buildings..or ?

Featured Replies

I'm wondering if any experienced FSX simmers have any experience with these buildings and UTX/GEX, I understand it  so that GEX brings its own autogen but what happens to the default one ?
If the default one is still in use; will Orbx HD building interfere with GEX autogen if installed ? How about the freeware GEX Enhanced Autogen, is it a better choice considering it's from the same developers ?

Hi

I uninstalled GEX once I installed the Orbx Global Base pack because, as far as I was aware, they both modiefied the same features within FSX and they were not mutually compatible. I am fairly sure Orbx HD Buildings would also interfere with GEX autogen as it too modifies the models in the default 3D building library. If you are already using UTX/GTX I would just stay with that rather than adding in the Orbx product.

This is what I suspected, but had to ask to be sure as the HD buildings makes a huge difference. I downloaded the GEX enhanced autogen from FlyAway and I'm satisfied the result I get together with the GEX payware.
