VERY UNDESIRABLE GRAPHIC PROBLEM

Recommended Posts

Hope someone can shed light on very undsirable graphic problem I can't seem to fix. It can happen anytime. Don't know if this is a FSX config or BIOS problem. At anytime, FSX will do a "loading complete" while running FSX and when most times when FSX resumes, I have lost my airport terminal buildings and other distorted graphic displays. I assume graphic display data is being shuffled around in memory. If I go into the FSX menu and select some option and just cancel out, when FSX resumes, sometimes the display returns correctly but most times it does not.Anyone has or experienced this problem?WilbertAbit AW9D-Max, Thermaltake W0106 700W PSU, Intel QX6700 Quadcore, Vista Ultimate 64 (SP1), 2Gx2|CORSAIRS TWIN2X4096-6400C4DHX, 2x150GB SATA WD Raptor - Non Raid, 2x320GB SATA WD SE16 - Non Raid, 2x IDE Light-On DVDRW 165H65, BFG 8800GTX OC2 768MB 626MHz- Core Clock | 169.25 Drivers, X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Professional Series, 3x SILENX 120X25MM FANS + 2x 10in XCLIO Wind Tunnel Case Fans, Danger Den Water Cooling, Enermax temp/fan controller

Do you have FSx SP2 installed? - On my machine, I had to uninstall SP2 because of very bad corrupted craphics problems. No amount of changes to the FSx settings would cure the problem. Now with only FSx SP1 installed everything works fine for meBarry

Yes - I do have FSX SP2 Aceleration installed and I am not using DX10 because of all the prolems with that. Could this actually be the problem?WilbertAbit AW9D-Max, Thermaltake W0106 700W PSU, Intel QX6700 Quadcore, Vista Ultimate 64 (SP1), 2Gx2|CORSAIRS TWIN2X4096-6400C4DHX, 2x150GB SATA WD Raptor - Non Raid, 2x320GB SATA WD SE16 - Non Raid, 2x IDE Light-On DVDRW 165H65, BFG 8800GTX OC2 768MB 626MHz- Core Clock | 169.25 Drivers, X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Professional Series, 3x SILENX 120X25MM FANS + 2x 10in XCLIO Wind Tunnel Case Fans, Danger Den Water Cooling, Enermax temp/fan controller

As an addon to my original post, can the problem I am experiencing be corrected without having to remove Aceleration (SP2)?By the number of responses or lack of, am I the only one experiencing this problem?WilbertAbit AW9D-Max, Thermaltake W0106 700W PSU, Intel QX6700 Quadcore, Vista Ultimate 64 (SP1), 2Gx2|CORSAIRS TWIN2X4096-6400C4DHX, 2x150GB SATA WD Raptor - Non Raid, 2x320GB SATA WD SE16 - Non Raid, 2x IDE Light-On DVDRW 165H65, BFG 8800GTX OC2 768MB 626MHz- Core Clock | 169.25 Drivers, X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Professional Series, 3x SILENX 120X25MM FANS + 2x 10in XCLIO Wind Tunnel Case Fans, Danger Den Water Cooling, Enermax temp/fan controller
