April 27, 200818 yr I'm wondering if you guys recommend SP2 if I'm only using a single core processor, and don't play multiplayer.Would I see any performance boost?Thanks.
April 27, 200818 yr I am running SP2 on a single core 3.2ghz extreme. I have 512mb card and 2 gigs of ram.It could have been my imagination, but I thought the sim began to run better after acceleration and the service packs.

Realize that there's a lot of 'fixes' in both Service Packs that are not strictly performance related... :) Fr. April 28, 200818 yr I am not running SP2, because of add-on compatibility issues. I may have to re-think it at some point.SP1 helped improve performance. It could have been some other tweaks I did as well..
