February 13, 20251 yr Hello everyone, I am a huge ai plane spotter and even though the ai system is terrible, I still would like to watch planes. I would like the ability to place a camera near a runway and have it track the airplanes that pass by. It would also be great if the camera would track the next ai automatically. I would be able to watch the camera track planes as they arrive and depart. I don't really need an expensive program that changes cockpit views and recording options because that's not of interest to me. This was available in P3DV4 but I would like to have this in MSFS too. I hope I am explaining it correctly. I haven't installed MSFS yet but I think it's time to test the waters and having the tracking ability would make it an easy choice. Thank you
February 13, 20251 yr All I can say is that what you're looking for is called "Plane spotting" and What does a google search "plane spotting in MSFS" comes up with ? You could use the drone to move to your desired location Auto following an aircraft is maybe another story, I don't know if it's natively possible nor if an addon exists that would solve this but maybe in your research you'll find something suitable Cheers !
