May 3, 200818 yr Is there any way when using Track IR in FSX to move the eye view point up, down, etc? On some aircraft the eye view point is way too low but when I turn Track IR on I cannot move it. You can do this in FS2004 but not FSX.Any help here would be appreciated. Thanks!Mike
May 3, 200818 yr Author Go into the aircraft.cfg and change the eyepoint. The last number controls the vertical height in the 'eyepont' section. If to low, increase the number, if to high, lower the number. A bit of trial and error, but you should be able to find your own 'default' eyepoint height you need pretty quickly. This is one of the first things I do when installing a new aircraft.Unlike FS9, it is not possible to change this within the aircraft. You can 'cheat' and reset the unit while 'sitting' high or low via the TrackIR, but I find this is not the best solution to maintain a preferred overall view of the cockpit.
