Hi All,

Is it possible to assign keyboard commands to Alternate Flap Extension, eg. the down arrow? (I'm using PMDG 737 in MSFS) This would be useful when practicing Hyd B failure so I dont have to keep going up to the overhead panel and then back to the flap gauge. Can't seem to work out how to do it.

Do you use SPAD.neXt or AxisAndOhs? If so, I think the LVARS you're looking for are:

NGX_FCTL_AltnFlaps_Sw_ARM   (True=Arm, False=Disarm)

NGX_FCTL_AltnFlaps_Control_Sw (0=Up, 1=neutral 2=Down)

That's a harder question than it sounds. I use SPAD and like it a lot, but I've never used Axis so I can't really say which one is better than the other. I know the people who have used it like Axis too, so I don't think you'd go wrong either way.
