Prepar3D forums Support registration

Featured Replies

I am trying to register on Prepar3D forums on Lockheed martin's website as I have run into problem with P3D and cannot describe the problem verbally. I have got a picture of error I'm getting but avism does not let me insert or paste directly here (What a silly idea of not allowing to insert pictures). The error I am getting is on startup System.IO.IO Exception: Data error (cyclic redundancy check) then it continues with list of read error at various locations. I don't even know what happened, All I know I used P3D earlier in the morning it was working fine with no problem or error. Then I came back in the evening and since then I am getting this pop up every time I load up the sim. I tried reinstalling client, Deleting CFG and simobjects CFG but nothing worked.

Actually found a way to upload my image via link - https://imgur.com/a/DLtnnFQ

Anyway on registration page on Lockheed martin's forum there is a riddle at the bottom - "Which item is r3D? FrenchBloodLem0nGrassLeaf" :  ----- What does that even mean, why make life harder for people to request support when they need it.

I have redownloaded the client and installed it but same problem, I'm thinking of updating the content next but I'm wondering what would happen to my addons.

Yep tried reinstalling content - didn't fix the problem. This is very annoying part of P3D.

The funny thing is  - once I hit okay on the error, P3D loads but it does take some longer time and I am able to load up into the flight. The error is still there on every start-up.
