March 9, 20251 yr MSFS2024 is in use. I am not using Expert Mode in AutoFPS - I have Auto Target FPS selected. At the bottom of the window I see 'TLOD Pri Day 300', and I see the TLOD has been set as 300 with the OLOD also set to 300. MSFS is notorious for only displaying airborne traffic for a short distance. This is very annoying when using PSXT/RealTraffic to observe traffic at an airport - shortly after take off traffic disappear from view. My aircraft is parked at the airfield so is less than 100ft. Is there a way to default the TLOD to a higher value when on the ground? When flying I am seeing the TLOD up to 900 - I want a high level like this when on the ground (I change the view in MSFS2024 to 'Showcase' so I can move around the airfield). March 10, 20251 yr I only use expert mode so I’m afraid I don’t have the answer. But perhaps @Reset XPDR does. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

Just set TLOD to 9.00 in your UserCfg.opt file, because you can't set it this high with the in-game slider, and have TLOD 900 everywhere if that's what you really want. If you still want a range of TLOD, just enable expert settings in AutoFPS and set whatever TLOD min on the ground and max in the air you want.
