March 17, 20251 yr Before starting to use "Map Enhancement Pro" I used "Auto-Ortho" and even a few years ago "Ortho4XP". With "Map Enhancement Pro" (MEPro) I get a welcome flattening effect at some airports that were rather exagerated in their "bump effects", but it's overall way too flat now 😞 LPPT 03/20 has a bump which is very evident when you're at the threshold of either runway. LPMA too, and zillions of other airports in their taxiways and runways... but now they all look flat with MEPro 😕 What alternative (to default and MEPro) meshes could be used? Ortho4XP is probably my only solution because it allows me to select specific meshes to build the ortho secnery, right? Thx for any suggestions. Within ortho4xp you have several options and outside also for Europe I use the Sony mesh which is very good in general https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/165525-sonnys-lidar-digital-terrain-models-of-europe/ Ortho4 XP in the end is not that complex, it is much less complex than most flight simulator addons, if you need advice or help you can ask me no problem, I am no expert but I know enough to be satisfied with my results in general.
