March 29, 20251 yr Woke up early this morning to watch the eclipse at sunrise but unfortunately the treeline and clouds prevented me from seeing it so I fired up MSFS 2020 and started a flight from KEWR-RJAA and wow, it did not disappoint! I got to watch the Eclipse after all. Just about to rise.... Partial Eclipse! Accurately starting to appear like two suns!!! About to head on board... I need eye protection... March 29, 20251 yr By the time I woke up, it was almost over around Chicago...🙂...So, I'm glad you had a T7 to take charge of early morning...🙂... It's anyway a cloudy and overcast day here, so nothing is visible above... Very nice...beautiful pictures...thanks for sharing...!

Got a glimpse of the sun and then right behind the clouds. Grey and overcast but supposed to be in the 80's today after the 50's yesterday and then 50's again tomorrow. Weather whiplash LOL... I didn't really expect to see anything but then sure enough at 6:42 I exited the flight deck and went down to the tarmac and at 6:46 the sun started to rise. I mean it was spot on to real life. The dogs were really confused why I kept running to the front door and then back to the computer LOL I normally don't join them to stare out the front door 😂 Ironically, the sun visors in the 777 gave the best view so it worked out perfectly!
