Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱

also, i notice that sometimes the course is set to 11 degrees whereas in the etb navigation log, the next waypoint is on a different heading of 9 degrees...

does the game not program the instruments with all ther waypoints or do i have to do it myself?

yes its MS2024 career mode doing a cargo run in a cessna 172 G1000

Yeah, better to setup and fly the instruments based on the actual flight plan. Career mode will setup some random points and such, but I just fly it like I do real world. Add the points in yourself. Not sure how much of a hit you might take in scoring. I didn't take much, but fly it realistically. Turn those path indicators off lol. All you need is the flight instruments.

Since it is Sim specific, it's now in the proper forum for questions.

problem is that the sim career mode hasnt taught me how to do that yet... ive done the cpl license which teaches you how to read the instruments but not  how to program them.

Look online with a search on programing the Garmins. It's not hard once you do it a couple of times. You can even make a little checklist to help out until you get the hang of it. It will be so much rewarding that way.

MSFS 2024 rating are ridiculous. I was hopping Asobo will add a grain of educational value in them but they didn't. Without fundamental understanding of 6 pack it hard to call it instrument rating! Anyways back to you screen!! Your PDF (left screen) CDI showing you are off course, to the right of the flight path. Also it does bother me you didn't initialize MFD (right screen)
