June 28, 200817 yr I started FSX yesterday and found that I had a major scenery or texture problem. Because I didn't backup a texture install I couldn't identify what files I placed into the sceneryworldtexture folder. So, I installed a completely new version of FSX with the RTM, SP1, and Acceleration. I then changed all the folder IDs in my current install and copied the default files from the new install into their associated directories.None of these actions made any difference. Somewhere in the bowels of FSX is a file(s) or setting that is causing the problem.Attached is a file containing a screenshot of the problem.Could someone please look at this shot and point me in the direction for a possible solution. I would greatly appreciate it.Thanksfb
June 28, 200817 yr How long ago was FSX okay? If recently, is there a computer restore point that you can load? Could this be a video card problem rather than FSX files?ArtBiostar TF560-A2+, Athlon 64X2-6000+, 4GB RAM, Geforce 8800GTS-320MB, 500W PSU, 250GB HD, FSX (SP1-SP2), Vista Home Premium 32 bit, CH Yoke & Pedals, 22" WS LCD monitor Art
