Unable to change Template in MSFS2024 SU2 Beta

Everything OK until yesterday. Previously I had updated NVIDIA Driver to latest.

Now, I get a message in Red Loaded from Master: Fenix A320-Easyjet etc

It works, I can use X TOuch Mini and the VrInsight FCU(with bridge), just cannot make any changes

Have a look at the manual, page 13, chapter 3.4 Master configuration and „clones“

Click on the question mark in the top menu bar of the AAO app to open the manual.

In 3.4 it says Clear Current config. I dont have that option I have:

Save current Config

Reload Current Config

Select master Config for this aircraft

Apply other config to this aircraft

Delete Current Config

Empty Current Config

Ive tried Deleting current config, and aply another config

Ive tried Select a Master Config

But I cannot get rid of the Loaded from Master Fenix A320-Easyjet Nantes.

In the past if I changed livery all  I had to do was uncheck the tick and apply a template?

Thanks for your help, I dont know what I have done, unless it is a dodgy livery?

Sorry, but I don't understand what the issue is. Your OP reads as if you've never seen a master/clone configuration before. That is why I directed you towards the manual.

This then sounds like you do know what a Clone configuration is - why are you not following the same procedure here?

If the red message doesn't want to go away, check if you have a duplicate of this configuration in the database. There should only be one, but I've seen before that sometimes two are created somehow.

  1. Disconnect from the simulator (click on the green LED at the top so it turns dark)
  2. Open "Templates->Edit configs"
  3. Look for the configs that have been created for this new livery and delete them.
They may hide in the section just called "config". But normally they are under the name of the "Master" aircraft
  4. DO NOT DELETE THE "MASTER", make sure to only delete the clones for the troubled liveries.
  5. Close the dialog and then click on the yellow hard disk symbol of the bottom of the AAO main dialog.
  6. Shut down and restart AAO
