Failed to connect to XP11 Pilot2ATC version 2.7.0.2

Featured Replies

When I try to connect the P2A to game, it says connected at the bottom right chat but It still says CONNECT at the bottom of the callsign and I can't see my plane on the map and cannot connect to ATC. It recognises my aircraft's power and if I click to Center Plane On Map it does, but I still cannot see the plane and other planes.

I downloaded XPUIPC and setup my IP

Sounds like you are not fully connecting to P2A V2.

Assuming you are running P2A on the same machine as X-Plane, check the version of XPUIPC.

You should have version 2.0.3.8 from Shirattie.com because many other versions just don't work.

  • Be sure the SIM is fully up and running and not paused before you try to connect.  The cockpit must be showing.
  • Be sure you are connected to the internet. It must be a reliable connection.
  • English-US Language installed and set as Primary Language, English Speech Recognition installed also.
  • Working Microphone installed and set as Default Audio Input device in Windows
  • Valid Call Sign – Try using the default call sign of Mfg: Beech; Tail Number: N431VB.  Press the Save button.
  • Try running the program in Administrator mode by right clicking on the Pilot2ATC.exe file and selecting “Run as Administrator”
  • If connected but the radios aren’t working, check the Battery and Avionics switches on or the “Ignore battery” and “Ignore Avionics” options are checked in P2A Config
  • If it seems to partially connect but the Connect button does not turn Green, set the Weather option to a different source such as NOAA Real Time Weather and try again.
  • If still won't fully connect, try deleting the AppConfig.xml file.  You will lose your Config settings, but some users have reported that this fixed their connection issue.  The file is located at:

c:\users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\P2A_200\Settings\AppConfig.xml

where <UserName> is your PC user name.  Portions of the path may be hidden by default, so be sure Windows Explorer has Show Hidden Items checked in the View tab.

Thank You for reply Dave

I tried to set up the input device on the device admin and delete the other not using devices, and it solved it.
