By the way, I tried yesterday a flight from Santos Dumont to Congonhas in Sao Paulo, programed the flight in SimBrief, took a Passaredo CRJ-700 (Aerosoft CRJ), made the initial flight and cockpit preparation and when I went into the FMC, I sadly discovered that SBRJ is not in the CRJ database, so I needed to re-program the flight from Galeao (SBGL), which in fact is not far away.

Strange?, well, I don't know if the runways at SBRJ are just too short for a CRJ and the fact that SBRJ is not in the CRJ database is not casual.

Any ideas?.

Thank you. I would assume that the CRJ being a smaller airliner would be able to land at SBRJ but then again I've never used it in sim. Strange case about the database not having SBRJ in it.

I've got an answer from Aerosoft, regarding the CRJ navigation database and SBRJ not being found:

"The minimum runway lenghth for the CRJ is per default 4500 ft. But the longest rwy at SBRJ is with 4341 ft too short. Thats the reason why you can not choose it in the CRJ FMC.

So it is not an error of the CRJ or the navdatabase".

Now it's clear. So, SBGL will be the option from/to Rio de Janeiro.
